Eligibility Criteria
- The thesis must have been defended on or after 1 January 2025.
- The thesis must be written in French or English.
- The thesis must focus on a case study relating to France or the French-speaking world.
- The thesis must belong primarily to the field of history.
Section 2
Evaluation Criteria
Applications are assessed by a jury of academics and specialists according to five criteria:

| 2 | Originality and intellectual contribution | 25 / 100 |
| 3 | Quality of analysis and critical depth | 20 / 100 |
| 4 | Writing quality | 10 / 100 |
| 5 | Scientific and societal impact | 10 / 100 |
